I was recently looking for an alternative to Dropbox as I find it quite expensive. After looking at several blogs i found what seems to be a solid alternative; namely the service named Copy from the people at Barracuda. That this is backed by Barracuda is just a sign that these people mean it seriously.
Copy has more or less all the features Dropbox has. In addition, if you share something you with a friend you also share the space with your friend meaning that you only use half the space each than the actual file size. A feature they call Fair Storage.
Right now, I primarily use it for backing up my photos from my devices.
